Eatvisor is a mobile application designed as a comprehensive dietary assessment and planning tool. Previously known as the Open Platform for Clinical Nutrition, the app serves as a vital link between clinical dietitians, doctors, and their patients, helping users assess and improve their dietary habits through evidence-based recommendations.
In this project we partnered with the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) - the largest research institute in Slovenia. This collaboration brought together two distinct areas of expertise: IJS’s deep scientific research in nutrition and our proficiency in modern technology and digital solutions. By merging these strengths, we were able to develop Eatvisor into a user-friendly mobile app, making advanced nutritional research more accessible to a broader audience.
As part of our collaboration, we applied for EU-funded research projects, successfully securing over €150,000 in grants to support the research and development of Eatvisor. Our experience in navigating the EU grant partnership process, from proposal to implementation, positioned us as a reliable EU research funding partner for innovation-driven projects. By securing this funding, we were able to refine the app, implement cutting-edge nutritional science, and bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application.
What makes our partnership with IJS truly unique is our complementary expertise:
By working together, we ensured that the groundbreaking research conducted by IJS was not just published but also meaningfully integrated into a functional, real-world tool that improves dietary habits on a daily basis. Eatvisor serves as a bridge between researchers and end users, demonstrating how scientific insights can be effectively packaged and disseminated to create tangible impact.
