Classology is an AI-powered learning platform designed to help students study smarter, faster, and more collaboratively. What started as a Chrome extension for instant homework assistance has evolved into a complete study ecosystem available across web and mobile.
Integrated directly into platforms like Canvas, Moodle, Brightspace, etc. Classology gives students real-time academic support through AI-powered answers, explanations, note-taking, and personalized learning tools.
By enabling the Chrome extension, users get AI-powered assistance for their homework questions. The student simply captures a screenshot or highlights the question they need help with and the platform provides answers with the help of AI.
The "Answer All" feature allows users to generate answers as well as receive explanations for multiple questions with a single click. It is compatible with five major learning platforms and supports various question formats, including multiple choice, short answer, and long answer questions.
The platform also allows users to take the notes while browsing any website and organize and store them in one place.
The 24/7 AI Tutor supports students' learning journey in real-time, by providing everything from quick answers to detailed explanations or guidance through tough concepts. Users can even upload study materials in formats such as PDFs, slides, and images and receive assistance, practice questions, and engage in interactive learning through chat.
We were responsible for the entire full-stack development process, starting with UX and UI design and wireframing, through to developing the Chrome extension and integrating it with the OpenAI API. Additionally, we designed and developed the landing page using Payload.
By uploading or capturing a screenshot of a math problem, users can access step-by-step solutions. This feature is designed to support understanding of math concepts through detailed breakdowns.
In May 2026, Classology V3 introduced a major upgrade focused on personalized and collaborative studying. Students can now generate their own study materials from virtually any source — including notes, websites, PDFs, videos, and audio recordings.
The platform automatically transforms content into podcasts, flashcards, practice exams, summaries, and other interactive learning formats. Users can also share their generated study sets with classmates, making learning more social and accessible.
Alongside the improved browser extension experience, Classology is now also available as a mobile app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, allowing students to study anywhere, anytime.
